Hebrews at Calvary Chapel KampalaHebrews
We have now started our new Sunday morning study in the book of Hebrews. Hebrews is great because it shows the greatness of Christ. Jesus is superior to all things, and He is the only one worthy of our worship. Have you been struggling with turning back to your former conduct and way of life? Hebrews can help by showing you that Jesus is better than anything you have ever known. You can subscribe to the podcast to follow along with the study of Hebrews at Calvary Chapel Kampala. Sermons are also available online from past studies.

Josh is Back
It is exciting to have Pastor Josh back with us. Josh was instrumental in starting Calvary Chapel Kampala back in 2002. He and his wife Natalie were away visiting family and churches in the United States and England.

New Ministry: Hospital Visitation
Many are stepping up and getting involved in ministry at CCK. Two new ministries that have started are the prison fellowship group, and the hospital visitation team. Every Saturday from four to five Niva Mohan and Pamela Joy lead a team to Mulago hospital. You can meet them at the main gate at 3:45 if you want to go with them. If you can’t go just remember them in your prayers!Ugandan Prisoners

New Ministry: Prison Outreach
The prison ministry is also a great opportunity to reach out with the love of Jesus. On the twenty third of August there will be a training seminar at the church from 10am to 1pm. Prison Fellowship Uganda will be with us to train us and inform us of ways to minister to prisoners and their families. The prison outreach ministry will be ongoing, and we will keep you informed of ways to get involved.
