Merry Christmas!
What an exciting time of year as we celebrate the birth of Jesus this Christmas! The Calvary Chapel Kampala Choir has compiled a few songs to help us get in the “Christmas spirit” and to remember Jesus—the reason for the season. The album Calvary Christmas is available at the church reception, or online at www.calvarykla.com/christmas.html
We would also like to inform you of the Christmas schedule of events so that you may attend the services, or pray for them as you have time. Calvary’s Holiday Services are as follows: The Nativity by our Drama Team on Christmas Eve at 2pm; Carols by Candlelight at 7pm on Christmas Eve; Celebrating Christ at 10am on Christmas Day. Note Midweek Service on Boxing Day is cancelled.
Wherever you are this holiday season we at Calvary Chapel Kampala would like to wish you a Merry Christmas!

Romans: Are You Ready for the Next Level?
Last Sunday we began a powerful new sermon series in the book of Romans. Frederick Godet, the 19th Century Swiss theologian, called the Book of Romans “The cathedral of the Christian faith.” John Calvin said of Romans, “When any one understands this Epistle, he has a passage opened to him to the understanding of the whole Scripture.” G. Campbell Morgan said Romans was “The most pessimistic page of literature upon which your eyes ever rested” and at the same time, “the most optimistic poem to which your ears ever listened.” With these testimonies, and many more, it is easy to see why we at Calvary Chapel Kampala are excited about this new study in this great book. On Sunday, the congregation at CCK declared with one voice, “We are ready!” as we kicked off our verse-by-verse Romans sermon series.
As always, you can listen to the Sunday morning and Wednesday evening sermon archives at the calvarykla.com website. You may also like to subscribe to the free CCK podcast called “Servants Call” so that you never miss a Sunday morning sermon again! |
