GlowOnce every few months Calvary Chapel Kampala takes a Sunday evening to meet with God in a special way. These meetings are called Glow. Glow is a night of worship, where we can gather together, experience God’s glory, and minister to Him. For many people at CCK, Sunday morning worship is not enough. There is a desire for more of the unique dynamic that we experience during praise and worship. That is where Glow comes in. Kenny Nek and the entire CCK choir and worship team host the event in the Calvary Chapel Kampala Sanctuary. It mainly consists of worship, but there is also time for prayer and spiritual gifts. The most recent Glow was October 28, and all who attended had one testimony—it was incredible! “God has never moved like that at CCK before” said worship leader Ken Nek. You could see from the expression on his face that he was serious…he was glowing!

Coming up is the Calvary Connection at CCK. The theme is "Leading the Way". We will also be speaking about the property update, and ways that you can get involved financially.  You are encouraged to attend this Sunday afternoon if you live in the Kampala area. For those who live out of the country, we will make a summery available online at the CCK website.

Prayer & Praise
  • This Saturday is the Women's luncheon at Namirembe Guest house in Kampala. Lynne Kelly, Pastor Brian's wife will be the main speaker. Over fifty women have signed up to attend. Please pray for God to meet with them in a special way through the teaching of His word and fellowship.
  • Pray for this Sunday's Calvary Connection meeting. We expect many members of CCK to be in attendance, and hope that they will experience a renewed desire to get connected.
  • Please pray for the board of Elders at Calvary Chapel Kampala. Their names are: Jacob Zikusooka, Chad Gamble, Jeff Otiti, Otim Chandy, Mulungi Sseruwo, Brian Kelly, and Josh Carlson.
  • We praise God for the students that have just started in the CCBC Uganda program. Please pray for the teachers: Josh Carson, Brian Kelly, Craig Linquist, Brian Kanyike, Jill Kanyike, Natalie Carlson, and Mike Neils. Also, don't forget to pray for the students.
