Brian and JoshPastor Brian is now in the United Stated spending time with his family, friends, and fellow churches that have joined with us here in the ministry. Joshua Carlson, who is the associate pastor at Calvary Chapel Kampala, has now taken the position of preaching at CCK. He is excited about what the Lord has in store these next few months. If you happen to be at the church on a Sunday morning, or Wednesday evening, you will hear Pastor Josh declaring the whole counsel of God. If you have missed any of Pastor Brian or Josh’s teachings, or do not live in Kampala, you can listen to updated sermons each week online at calvarykla.com.

We had a great Easter weekend here at CCK. On Good Friday we had our first ever Good Friday service and many people were in attendance. Pastor Brian preached on the goodness of the Lord and reminded the congregation of Christ’s love for us that was demonstrated on the cross. Easter Sunday was also enjoyable. Not only were we lifted up in praise and worship by Ken Nek and the worship team, but we also were privileged to see a short play by the CCK children’s ministry headed by Zeddie Muzungu. The kids did great, and the congregation was pleased with their performance. The service ended with an uplifting message by Pastor Brian. Thank you Jesus for your work on our behalf!

Prayer & Praise
  • Please begin to pray for several upcoming events. We will be hosting a team of college and career ministry leaders at the end of May. They will be doing many youth functions with CCK, and hosting a large Mega Mix outreach.
  • Nathan Perkins and some other Bible College students are starting a new youth service at the church on Saturdays. The starting date will be announced soon. This will be a wonderful opportunity to reach out to Uganda’s teens who make up over fifty percent of the population.
  • There is a new home fellowship at the church every Friday. It is at Mr. and Mrs. Otim Chandy’s house in Muyenga. All are welcome. If not attending, won’t you pray for the fellowship to be fruitful?
  • Pastor Brian and his family will be in the United States until the beginning of June. Please pray for them that their time would be fruitful. Also, please pray for Pastor Josh as he pastors the church.
