News

GreetingThis week we have a lot to thank God for. Not only have we started a new exciting study in the book of Acts, but we have added an additional Sunday morning service. We now have three Sunday services at Calvary Chapel Kampala. God has allowed us in a small way to live the book of Acts while we are studying it! The church growing and people are getting saved and taught the word. The Bible says in Acts two forty two that “…they (the church) continued steadfastly in the apostles' doctrine and fellowship, in the breaking of bread, and in prayers.” This is our pattern as a church, and by the grace of God, we are walking in it.

For the next two weeks we encourage you to stand in prayer with us for a short term mission team traveling to Central African Republic. The team, headed by Pastor Craig Linquist of Calvary Chapel Entebbe, will be gone for two weeks on a mission to bring the gospel to an unreached people group. The tribe that they are visiting is located in the remote regions of Central African Republic, and the team from Calvary Chapel Kampala and Entebbe will have to travel through severe terrain. The team is  comprised of CCK Bible college graduates and leaders from CCK and CCE. They will be gone from the 15th to the 27th of January.

Prayer & Praise

Pray for the team traveling to the unreached people group in the Central African Republic. Their names are: Brian Kijambu, Paul Ntume, Joel Otim, Nehemiah Kithathutha, Grace Ochwo, Joan Agnes Mutonyi, Godfrey Waidhuba, Bosco John Onono, Dennis Bukenya, Anthony Katabazi, Julius Mukisa, Opeto Wilfred, and Craig Linquist. Pray that there would be unity among the team members, and that God would soften the hearts of those going to be ministered to. Pray for their safety in traveling and health while they are there. Pray for the families and ministries they are leaving behind. Pray that they may be prepared both spiritually and physically. Pray for God’s will to be done in and through their lives.

Please pray that the church would be strengthened and instructed as we begin our new study in the book of Acts.

Continue to pray for Pastor Josh Carlson and his wife Natalie as they are traveling in England.
