Zeddie MuzunguJesus loves little children…all the children of the world. We can see his love for kids in the Bible. Consider the following passages:

“Then Jesus called a little child to Him, set him in the midst of them, and said, "Assuredly, I say to you, unless you are converted and become as little children, you will by no means enter the kingdom of heaven.” Matthew 18:2-3

“Then they also brought infants to Him that He might touch them; but when the disciples saw it, they rebuked them. But Jesus called them to Him and said, "Let the little children come to Me, and do not forbid them; for of such is the kingdom of God.” Luke 18:15-16

God loves children, and He wants us to show them His love in the church. He also desires for children to know about Jesus, and to learn His word. That’s why we at CCK place a great emphasis on the teaching of God’s word to children at their own level.

"Therefore you shall lay up these words of mine in your heart and in your soul, and bind them as a sign on your hand, and they shall be as frontlets between your eyes. You shall teach them to your children, speaking of them when you sit in your house, when you walk by the way, when you lie down, and when you rise up.” Deuteronomy 11:18-19

CCK Childrens MinistryWhen children attend the CCK children’s ministry they are going to get the whole counsel of God, just like the adults to upstairs in the sanctuary, but in a way that they can understand. Our five classrooms are broken up into different age levels. The children are able to learn at their own level, and interact with other kids their age. Right now there are over sixty kids who attend the children’s ministry. We also have thirty five volunteers to give the children the special attention that they need to grow in God’s love. Zeddie Muzungu is the children’s ministry director, and through his leadership the children’s program at CCK is flourishing!

Children's Ministry

This Sunday is the Calvary Connection. The Calvary Connection is a time for people to learn about the church ministries and how they can get "connected." Pastors Brian and Josh will share the vision for the future, a vision that includes a new sunday morning service and new opportunities to get involved. If you are in Kampala the Calvary Connection begins at 3pm and all are welcome. Snacks will be provided.

Brian and Jill Kanyike have gone to Fort Portal to oversee the church (Calvary Chapel Fort Portal) while Doug and Destiny Calhoon are gone. Brian Kanyike has been teaching at the Bible College here, and will be pastoring in Doug's place for the next three months. Please keep them in prayer, and we will keep you updated on their progress.

Pray for the Calvary community outreaches, especially for the new outreach in Luwero town. Pray for the pastoral interns: Zeddie Mzungu, Peter Nduala, David Kizza, Davik Kimuli, Anthony Yakobo, John Kalule, Joachim Bwambali, and Brian Kanyike.

Christmas is coming soon and we are planning many activities at the church including a Christmas day service and a Christmas eve worship and carol service. Pray for the kids Christmas play too.

The Bible College has only two weeks left in this semester. Pray for the students and teachers that they would finish strong.

Pray for Far Reaching Ministries and the preparation of the teams that will be coming over next year to minister with us here in Kampala. If you live in the US and would like to join one of the ministry teams you can visit www.frmafrica.org for more information
