Women's Fellowship

As the church grows in numbers we also want to grow in our relationship with one another. Fellowship groups are a good way to do this. Each week you will find a fellowship group meeting at either a home, coffee shop, the church, or some other location. Fellowship groups are a great way to make new friends and talk about the Lord. All are welcome to attend, and many benefit greatly from time spent with other believers. “I never knew that we could develop such deep and meaningful friendships with one another” commented on member of the married couple's fellowship. “I’ve developed stronger friendships during my time with this group then I have the entire time I have been a member of the church.” From the men’s fellowship to the married couple's fellowship, there is a place for everyone to get involved. Perhaps you would like to visit a fellowship this month at CCK? You can see the list of fellowships below for guidance.

  • Men’s Fellowship meets fortnightly on Friday morning 7am at Ban Café Coffee Shop (near Grand Imperial Hotel)  they also meet Saturdays at 5pm at the church.
  • Women’s Fellowship meets every Saturday afternoon 5pm at the church. On the last Saturday of the month they meet in the homes of some of the women.

We have decided that in order for the church to accommodate all of the new people who are attending we need to go to three services on Sunday. Please pray with us about the timing (we are praying about the first of the year) and also pray that the volunteers and staff (including the pastor and worship team) will be prepared for the extra ministry load.

Continue to pray for the Bible College students as they are nearing the finish line for this semester. There is one more month to go before the semester closes, and they need your prayers for the strength to finish strong.

We are continuing in our quest for property. At the elders meeting last week we came to the conclusion—through research and investigation—that property in the city of Kampala averages at 1 million dollars per acre. We need between four and six acres… Will you pray for us please?

Pray for Far Reaching Ministries and the preparation of the teams that will be coming over next year to minister with us here in Kampala. If you live in the US and would like to join one of the ministry teams you can visit www.frmafrica.org for more information

Continue to pray for our sister churches in Uganda, Kenya, and Sudan: CC Nairobi, CC Fort Portal, CC Nimule, CC Jinja, CC Entebbe
