Baptism

Over the weekend Calvary Chapel held a baptism service on the shores of Lake Victoria. Baptism candidates, friends, and family all gathered at Kisubi Beach to celebrate the believer’s identity with Christ through baptism. They sang worship songs, heard a message from the Bible by Pastor Brian, and then headed out into the water. It was a wonderful time and over thirty people were baptized!

“Therefore we were buried with Him through baptism into death, that just as Christ was raised from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life.” Romans 6:4

Will you take a moment and pray for the services at CCK? Sunday we have two services, one at 8:15am and another at 10am. Wednesday is our midweek Bible study at 5:30pm. Throughout the week we also have other ministries and fellowship groups. We need your prayers.

We are still in the process of looking for church property. We looked at a nice place on Lugogo bypass this week, however, the price was quite high at 2.5 million dollars for four acres. We know that God will provide the right place and the right price in His timing!

Continue to pray for our sister churches in Uganda, Kenya, and Sudan: CC Nairobi, CC Fort Portal, CC Nimule, CC Jinja, CC Entebbe
