Students Study the Word of GodCalvary Chapel Bible College Uganda is now up and running with our eighth semester of classes. The Bible College program is an extension of the Calvary Chapel Bible College in Murrieta California, and students are given the same classes and degrees that they offer there in the US. The school here in Uganda has been running for as long as the church, and we consider it an essential part of the ministry of CCK. At the Bible College students are trained in the Word of God, and given Biblical skills to help them in their walk with God. Not all students who attend the Bible College will go into full time vocational ministry. However, many of the students feel that a Biblical education will assist them as they pursue further education, or enter into the working world.

CCBC Uganda has already had two graduations, and over twenty students have graduated with degrees. Many of the graduates are continuing on in the church with our pastoral intern program, and hope to pastor their own churches in the near future. One of these students is Brian Kanyike. Brian has been at the church since the beginning and is currently part of CCK’s full time staff. His heart is to teach the word of God, and pastor a church. He is gifted in teaching, and has now been given a great opportunity to exercise his gift. Brian, who used to be a student atBrian Kanyike CCBC Uganda, is now one of the instructors at the Bible College. He started teaching this semester! His teaching is received well by the students, and many benefit from his testimony of success. “I just thank God,” Brian testified one Wednesday during the Bible study. “I am teaching at the Bible College, and It’s by God’s grace!”
