Pastors and Leaders Conference Flyer

Ray Bentley is back with the third annual pastors and leaders conference at Calvary Chapel Kampala. Pastor Ray, along with four other church leaders on his team, will be giving advice and counsel from God’s word from June 22 – 24 in the CCK sanctuary. The theme of this year’s conference is “Preach the Word” which is an urgent message and wake up call for the church in Uganda. Pastors and church leaders from all over Kampala, and further out into the country, will be invited to attend. Admission is free and lunch will be provided. If you are in Kampala, and believe that this conference is for you or someone you know, please come. If you live elsewhere, you can lift up the conference in prayer. We are looking forward to an awesome time

We ask that you start praying now for some of the teams that will be coming to visit us here in Kampala this year. Please pray for these two groups that will be coming in the next few months:

  • We have a group coming with Far Reaching Ministries at the end of May. They will be doing some local outreach and a short crusade trip to Mpigi the beginning of June. They are also planning on visiting pastor Craig in Entebbe to do a children’s seminar
  • Ray and Vicki Bentley from Maranatha Chapel are coming with a team for a pastor’s and leader’s conference the end of June at CCK. Vicki, with the women of the team, will be joining the CCK ladies for a women’s retreat in Jinja at the same time. They will be involved in several other activities as well.

Pastor Brian will be attending the Calvary Chapel Pastor’s conference this June in Murrieta California. Please pray that he would be encouraged and refreshed as he is there. Special thanks to Calvary Chapel La Habra for flying him out and making the conference possible for him. Please also pray for Pastor Josh as he teaches at CCK while Brian is gone. Also, please pray for his family while he is away for two weeks.

Please keep praying for property. This is a huge request as the price of property in Kampala increases on a daily basis. To give you an idea of what we are dealing with here, we looked at one six acre plot near the city that was selling for 2 billion shillings ($1.11 million dollars). That’s a big request but thankfully, we serve a big God!

Continue to pray for our sister churches in Uganda, Kenya, and Sudan: CC Nairobi, CC Fort Portal, CC Nimule, CC Jinja, CC Entebbe
