The praise and worship ministry is an important part of what we do here at CCK. We believe that worship brings people into a deeper relationship with God, and is a wonderful way to express our feeling of love for Him. The New Unger’s Dictionary puts it this way; “It is as natural to worship as it is to live. The feeling and expression of high adoration, reverence, trust, love, loyalty, and dependence upon a higher power, human or divine, is a necessity to man.” The psalmist, in Psalm 95:6-7, invites us to worship God. “Oh come, let us worship and bow down; Let us kneel before the LORD our Maker. For He is our God, And we are the people of His pasture, And the sheep of His hand…” This is our desire at Calvary Chapel. We want to worship and praise God for who He is and what He has done.
Kenny Nek is the new worship leader at CCK. He has a Godly background and loves the Lord with all of his heart. Kenny has been leading worship at the church now for about three weeks and it has been spectacular. With the team of musicians and singers behind him, Kenny uses his gifts and talents to help the rest of us enter in to worship. We are extremely thankful that God has provided a man who is able to lead in this important ministry, and we are sure that praise and worship at CCK will only get better in the future!

Continue to keep CC Entebbe in your prayers. The other night, during a violent wind storm, the tent that they had been meeting in blew away! Thankfully they found it the next day, but it had sustained some damage.
Pray for Eric Ceaser. He has gone to Nairobi to help teach at the CC Bible College there. Eric will be teaching three days a week, and helping with the Calvary Chapel fellowship as well.
Continue to pray that CCK finds property in Kampala. This is a big thing, as property is expensive and difficult to find, but thankfully, we serve a big God!
