Brian and FamilyPastor Brian Kelly and his family are still in the United States. They have enjoyed a time of refreshment with family and friends there. They do, however, long to return to Uganda to see their brothers and sisters again at Calvary Chapel Kampala. CCK is a family built on love. Our desire is to show people the love of Jesus Christ. CCK believes that by demonstrating love to one another, and reaching out to those who may not have experienced true love before, we can effectively change our country.

“By this all men will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another." John 13:35

What a privilege it is to be a part of a church that isn’t interested in money, or the latest “wind of doctrine” blowing through Christianity. We are interested, rather, in building a relationship with Jesus and one another by teaching—and living—the Word of God.

Would you continue to pray for Pastor Brian and his family while they are away?  Also pray for Pastor Josh Carlson, that he would continue to build up the believers at CCK in Brian’s absence.

We also need your prayers that God would provide property for the church. In Kampala property is very expensive. Pray that in God’s perfect timing we would see both the property, and the money to buy it.

Continue to pray for the worship team. Ask God to help them play and sing skillfully and to lead the congregation in worship.

The Ugandan presidential elections are only a few months away and we need to pray that there would be no violence. Please, please, please pray for a peaceful election in Uganda. And pray for the right leader to be elected
