From all of us at Calvary Chapel Kampala we would like to wish you the best for 2006. We are excited about what the Lord has for all of us in this New Year and are confident that His great work will continue.

2005 was exciting in many ways. The church grew tremendously as people found out about Calvary’s simple and honest approach to Bible teaching. “We teach the Bible” Pastor Brian is frequently heard saying, “Book by book, chapter by chapter…and verse by verse.” Through simply teaching the Word of God, and showing the love of Jesus Christ, the church has grown not only numerically but spiritually as well.

We sent out our first missionaries as a church, and sponsored several outreaches, including the outreach to Mpigi where we provided medicine, films, sports, and an evangelistic message.
Many pastors, leaders, and visitors came from abroad through Far Reaching Ministries to strengthen our faith here in Uganda.
New ministries started up in 2005. Mega-Mix, the popular youth program at the end of each month, is a great success with many coming to enjoy the music and ministry.
Plans are set in motion for us to help with the problem in the north. Within the next few months we hope to send our a church planting team to the town of Kitgum to offer spiritual hope and help to the children and people effected by the LRA.
The first Calvary Chapel Bible College Kampala students graduated after over two years of study in the school. What an achievement for them!
We held our first large city wide crusade at Nakivubo Stadium downtown. Many churches and people helped in the event and we saw over 15,000 people there for the two night event. Thousands of them responded to the gospel each night.
And many, many more!!

With 2006 here we are confident in the good fruit that will be produced in the weeks and months ahead. We will keep you informed of the work of Calvary Chapel Kampala, and we ask that you keep praying for us. Prayer is the greatest and most effective tool that we have to advance the Lords work. You play a part in the furtherance of the Gospel when you commit to pray for us. Thank You!
