CCK is home to Calvary Chapel Bible College—and extension of the Calvary Chapel Bible School in Murrieta California. CCBC Kampala Started about the same time as the church. The CCBC Program in the United States, however, has been training young men and women in the gospel since the late 1970’s. God has used the Bible School here in Kampala mightily for His glory. We just finished our sixth semester, making three years of intensive Bible training and discipleship. Last semester, as many of you may remember, we had our fist graduation where eleven students received their degrees from the main campus in California. These were the first non-American students to graduate from CCBC in the history of the school. What a joy it was to see these young men and women excited about their future as servants of God! Several of these graduates are currently preparing to enter the mission field here in Africa. Two of the men, David Kalanzi and Augustine Kamya, are going to plant a church in Kitgum, a town troubled by the LRA in the north of Uganda.
For more information about the next semester and how you can be a part of it please contact Pastor Josh Carlson by email at: joshcarlson@calvarychapel.com or come by the church reception for a brochure.
Don’t miss out this Christmas season if you are in the Kampala area. Pastor Josh Carlson will be delivering a delightful Christmas message, Sunday, the 25th of December at the 8am and 10am services. What a privilege it is to gather together and celebrate the birth of Christ. There will be special Christmas refreshments from 9:30 to 10am.

Continue to pray for Pastor Brian and his family as they are in the United States. They will be doing some traveling after the Christmas holiday. Pray that they would come back to Uganda refreshed and ready for service.
Pray for Pastor Josh Carlson as he pastors the church in Brian's absence. Pray that God would give him wisdom and ability for the task at hand. Also, lift up a special prayer for the Christmas service at CCK. This is a time of year when many people will attend church that would not normally do so. We desire for God to touch their hearts with the love of Jesus.
Join with us in prayer that God would provide property in Kampala for CCK. We are praying for property within or near the city center.
