On
Wednesday night we give a time for testimony at Calvary Chapel Kampala.
It is a time for individuals to share what the Lord is doing in their
lives, and for the body to join in glorifying God. A testimony is a
powerful thing. It is powerful because people get to see that God is
still working faithfully for us in this world. This past week we heard
a testimony from one of our dear brothers named Julius. Julius, together
with many of us at Calvary Chapel, had been praying for his son to return
from the north. His son was kidnapped by the LRA two years ago and was
feared dead—or worse—turned into a child soldier. After
two years of intercessory prayer Julius received his answer. His son,
whom he thought was dead, was alive! What a witness it was of the Lords
goodness. The congregation at Calvary Chapel clapped and cheered as
the testimony was shared.
We look forward to what God
is going to do in the future at CCK. Because of His promises, and because
of His past faithfulness, we know that God will continue His mighty
work in our church.

Next month
the Living in the Last Days crusade will happen. We are working hard
to prepare for this event and ask that you stand with us in prayer that
God’s work would be done. If you live in the Kampala area, please
come by the church to see how you can be involved.
Continue to lift up the additional
Sunday morning service. More people are attending the early morning
service, and it is giving additional space for newcomers at the ten
o’clock service.
Please pray for Matthew Kasujja
and Anne Ofumbi as they lead worship. Matthew has been leading for the
past several weeks and has done very well. Anne has not been feeling
well and needs your prayers. We pray that she is back with us soon.
Pastor Brian’s wife
Lynne had their third child last Thursday. Liana Love Kelly is her name
and she is healthy and beautiful. Please remember their family in your
prayers.
